Create an Allowlist with Proofpoint Threat Response

Ensure that phishing simulation and security notifications are properly delivered.

If your organization uses Proofpoint Threat Response, follow the steps below to create an allowlist for Dune Security to ensure that phishing simulation and security notifications are properly delivered:

Steps to Create an Allowlist in Proofpoint Threat Response:

  1. Log in to Threat Response

    • Access your Threat Response dashboard with your administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Lists Page

    • Go to the Lists section.
    • Choose the appropriate sub-tab (e.g., Safe Senders) for the type of list you wish to create.

  3. Allowlist the Dune Security Sender IP

    • Add Dune Security’s IP address to the allowlist, provided by your Dune Security Customer Success Manager.

  4. Add a New List

    • Click the Add (+) button located in the header of the left panel to open the Add New List form on the right side of the page.

  5. Create a Name and Description

    • Enter a name for the allowlist (e.g., "Dune Security Allowlist").
    • Optionally, you can include a description to detail the purpose of this list.

  6. Save Changes

    • Click Save to finalize the list creation.
